Elisir di Castelvecchio – born on 10/05/2024 – is a modern, harmonious, and athletic colt. He already shows a tall and elegant build, with agile and light movements. His good-natured and curious temperament reveals a strong aptitude for learning, a quality that makes him particularly promising for a future high-level sporting career.

His sire, Connor (Casall × Cor de la Brière), is a stallion of solid conformation, with a strong back and long, correct limbs. After a career competing up to 1.50 m, Connor is establishing himself as a highly interesting sire, gaining breeders’ attention thanks to the success of his offspring. Among them, Connor JEI stands out, achieving international victories with Martin Fuchs, further consolidating his sire’s reputation.

The paternal grandsire, Casall, is considered one of the best sport horses of his generation, with an international record of the highest level. His legacy is confirmed by numerous successful offspring, including Austria (Kent Farrington), Caillou (Karl Cook), Ariso (Jordan Coyle), Caracas (Jos Verlooy), Casallvano (Daniel Deusser), and Wunschkind (Eric van der Vleuten). To date, 82 of Casall’s offspring compete at 1.60 m level, testifying to his exceptional ability to transmit quality.

Connor’s dam is a full sister to the famous Corrado I, a top-performing stallion who, with Bo Kristoffersen and Franke Sloothaak, won numerous Grand Prix between 1991 and 1997 (Leeuwarden, Dortmund, Aarhus, Neumünster, Kiel). Corrado I left an indelible genetic mark on the Holsteiner breed, producing champions such as Corrada (Peter Charles), Cosima (Markus Fuchs), Think Twice (Leopold van Asten), Clinton (Dirk Demeersman), and Corradina (Carsten-Otto Nagel). The female line 6879 remains one of the most prestigious in the Holsteiner studbook.

The dam, Dicas, is entirely dedicated to her broodmare career and is a daughter of the renowned Diarado, a stallion who has produced champions worldwide. The maternal line (Cassini II × Contender) is also of the highest quality, with numerous international jumpers—including Toulago 3, competing up to 1.50 m with Kathrin Müller—and several awarded broodmares.

An outstanding pedigree, combining strength, blood, and sporting aptitude, for a young horse that embodies all the qualities to succeed at the highest levels.
